“We cannot solve a crisis without treating it as a crisis. […] And if solutions within the system are so impossible to find, then maybe we should change the system itself?” – Greta Thunberg
I am currently working on…
In June of 2021, I started working on Project Solid because I also believe in “your data your choice”. I spend my time on the open-source SolidOS code working with volunteers around the world guided by Sir Tim Berners-Lee.
I write about my experience in the Solidverse on my Solid Pod.
About me
I like a good view of a mountain (like the ones in the Alps) or hills (like the ones in Transylvania). To get to such views I sometimes hike and I like to travel. My favorite seasons to see these views are spring and autumn.
I like to see, chat or simply be in the presence of my friends. For this I often create meeting groups and organize stuff… and I love it! 🙂
I like to be part of a community and feel I belong! For this reason, I was always part of student organizations, spend my free time on extracurricular activities and projects, and founded communities (read my blog entry about volunteering) . This is another reason why I like to organize stuff 🙂
I like lines of code and especially the ones that I can fix and make work as intended 😉 It is fascinating what computers can do when we write in a text file instructions in a computer language.
I find it humbling to be considered trustworthy such that people can ask me for advice or simply tell me about themselves. It is fascinating to understand a person’s motivation and needs on an inclusion and belonging level.

How to use my website
On the left, you will see different categories I write about.
About me – are posts in which I share what I believe in and how I think.
Volunteering – contains everything about what I did/do in my free time. However, Women Techmakers which was a big part of my life has its own category.
Programming – consists of different coding projects and endeavors. Some specific ones have their own categories like Semantic Web, Tutorials, or Solid.
I also tried out Entrepreneurship for a year on the topic of DEIB.
